Israel's disobedience and it's consequences

                 Israel at the time of Judges 1 and 2 didn't obey the instructions Joshua and God.Joshua before his death commanded them to serve the Lord that if they don't they will face negative consequences from God.Joshua commanded the children if Israel to serve God.

                  God commanded the children of Israel to destroy the inhabitants of the land of Canaan, they didn't obey completely. They obey particularly. They didn't destroy the people, drive the people out and the things God told they to destroy,because they collected tributes from the inhabitants of the Land.

                God told the children of Israel that because they didn't obey God the people of the land they drive out will become thorns and thistle to the children of Israel. This was the same with Saul. God told Saul to destroy the Children of the Amalakites and destroy everything in the land of the Amalakite.He destroyed somethings and left something.He brought back king Agag and the animals. Samuel challenge Saul and Saul told him that he brought the animals for sacrifice.Samuel told him it better to obey than to sacrifice and to hearken than the fats of rams.Saul lost the kingdom.

              The above was the beginning of Saul's backsliding. There was a battle.Samuel told Saul to wait for him to come before he will do the sacrifice and the children of Israel will go for battle the children of Israel pressured Saul and he sacrificed before Samaul came.Samuel asked him why did you sacrifice he said he feared the people.On no case should you fear the people than God and not to backslide due to pressure.

              Saul went a heard to consult a witch,Saul totally backslided.

                Disobedience to God has negative consequences. It is dangerous to disobey God.It is disastrous to disobey God.If you are a Christian don't blackside,stand for holiness and righteous. Live a Christian life.Live a holy life.
