Disobedience is the act of violating rules and regulations given to someone or violating instructions of a constituted authority.
Actually,God told the children of Israel to always sacrifice before going to war.A time came that Saul and the children of Israel where waiting for Samuel to come and sacrifice for the battle.Saul could not wait for Samuel to come but he sacrificed in the place of Samuel.He was not a priest.Samuel became furious when he came.Saul said "he sacrificed because of the fear of the people.This was the first account of the disobedience of Saul.
Saul disobeyed God.God told him to go to amalek to destroy every thing found in the land. He destroyed men but brought back to Israel women, children,goats,sheep,oxen and the king. God told Samuel that Saul had sinned and that he should see Saul,and tell him he had sinned.
Samuel went to Sauls palace and told him that had disobeyed God.Saul said"he had obeyed God in all the things God commanded him to do".Samuel said" but he can hear the bleatings of goats and sheep and who is this king?".Saul said" he brought them to sacrifice to God"Samuel said"to obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fats of Rams".
Samuel killed the king of Amalek and left the king Sauls palace in fury.As he was going Saul held his clothes and the clothes of Samuel got torn and Samuel said that "as this cloth got torn so is the kingdom of Israel rend from you.
What was the consequences,the spirit of God left Saul,Saul and his sons died in the same day and the kingdom was taken from him.
Another example of another person who disobeyed God in the Bible is the young prophet.The young prophet was giving an instruction to not eat on the to deliver a message.
He got to the place to deliver the message he deliver the message and was asked to eat.He did not eat.The man left for home.On his way he met an older prophets the older prophets told him to come home and eat with him.The young prophet told him that God told him not to eat on the way.The Young prophet obliged and went to eat with the older prophets.After eating the older prophet told him that he will die on the way.As the younger prophet was going home he met a lion and the lion killed him.
The consequence on the younger prophet is that he lost his life and ministry because he disobeyed God when he was told not to eat on the way,
God gave laws to the children of Israel in Exodus 20,but the sons of Eli disobeyed this laws.They were sleeping with women at the temple and pollution the sacrifices the children of Israel were bringing to the temple.
The sons of Eli lost their lives in a day and the ark of God was taken.This made their father to die.They lost the generational priesthood blessings.
In addition,Adam and Eve disobeyed God.God told them not to eat the fruit in the midst of the garden.The serpent told Eve that the day she eat to the fruit she will become as God and her eyes will be opened,she eat and gave to her husband he also ate and they saw themselves naked.
The consequences of Adam and Eve disobedience is that they were driving from the presence of God and it's provision.
Please, don't disobeyed God.Dont disobeyed your parents.Dont disobeyed your pastors.Dont disobeyed your teachers in the right instructions and don't disobeyed constituted authority in the right things.God bless you.
